Essentrics: Aging Backwards

with Martha Au

This is an age reversing workout that will restore movement in your joints, flexibility in your muscles, relieve pain, and stimulate your cells to increase energy, vibrancy and your immune system. A slow-paced, full body workout aimed at regaining your mobility while slowly building strength and reawakening the power of your 650 muscles. This class has a slower pace than the general Essentrics classes. It is designed for those who have atrophy-related stiffness, frozen shoulder, chronic aches and pains, or who are beginning to exercise after a long sedentary period. For men and women of all ages who are looking for a gentle, slow tempo class.

Martha has been a certified Essentrics instructor since 2014 and was the first Essentrics instructor in the Eastern Township. She has been giving classes regularly in Magog, Georgeville, Eastman and Sherbrooke. She loves sports and has been active throughout her life. She is passionate about Essentrics not simply because it could help people to improve their flexibility and mobility but the fact that it might be a life-changing programme for those who suffer from chronic pain to regain some quality of their lives.
